ARRIVAL AT COCHIN
Upon clearing Customs and Immigration, you are met by our representative who will present you with a welcome pack including all necessary documentation and arrange for your transfer to your hotel for check-in.
COCHIN – one of the finest natural harbours on the Arabian Sea coast, Cochin, also known as Kochi, has been a port of call for foreign traders from early times. Its cosmopolitan character is reflected in the buildings and structures representing different regions of the world. A city of peninsulas and islands, today it is Kerala’s commercial hub.
Evening (18h – 20h) : proceed to COCHIN CULTURE CENTRE (A\C Theatre) to witness KATHAKALI Dance Show.
Kathakali – A famous classical dance from Kerala, known for its elaborate make up, grand costumes and intricate eye and hand movements. Return back to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Morning: Proceed for sightseeing tour of Cochin, visit following:
Dutch Palace (Mattancheri Palace) – The Dutch Palace built by Portuguese in 1555 A.D and handed over to Raja Kerala Varma of Kochi. The palace was renamed as Mattancheri Palace in 1663.
St. Francis Church – India’s oldest European built church was constructed in 1503 by Portuguese Franciscan friars who accompanied the expedition led by Pedro Alvarez Cabral.
Afternoon: Free at leisure.
Evening: Cruising by BOAT around the islands through the BACKWATERS extending to the south and the east from the sea and skirting the COCHIN HARBOUR. Overnight at hotel.
COCHIN – MUNNARBreakfast: At the hotel
Morning departure for Munnar. Set at an altitude of 6000 ft, Munnar was the favoured summer resort of the British in colonial days. It has a seemingly endless expanse of tea and cardamom plantations, pristine valleys and mountains, exotic species of flora and fauna in its wild sanctuaries and forests, with the aroma of spice scenting the cool air. Afternoon tour includes visit to a tea plantation. Overnight stay at hotel.

After breakfast at your convenient, start sightseeing of Munnar. Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Kundala Lake, Athukkad Falls, Rajamalai (Eravikulam) National Park, Tea Museum, Blossom Park, Pothamedu Sunset. Overnight stay.
MUNNAR – PERIYARBreakfast: At the hotel
Today after breakfast, drive to Periyar, upon arrival check – in at hotel.
PERIYAR – This Wildlife sanctuary is in the Thekkady District. Periyar Sanctuary was the earliest sanctuary to be set up in 1934. The sanctuary extends to 777 sq. kms and forms part of the High mountain Ranges, the Western Ghats. Wild Life can be seen while cruising on Periyar Lake in a motorboat. Amongst the animals are wild elephants which can be seen and photographed at close quarters, wild boar, sambar, tiger, langur monkeys.

Today after breakfast, proceed for a boat ride on Lake Periyar to admire the animals (wild elephants, monkeys, buffalo, antelope etc.)and birds and released by the lakeside. Then visit to a spice market in Kumily.OVERNIGHT HOTEL

Morning after breakfast, drive to Alleppey Jetty to board the house boat. A backwater comprises of a unique web of rivers, lakes, bays, lagoons and canals extending into the villages and town of the city. Backwaters are a central part of Kerala’s Tourism Synopsis, making an absolute cruiser through the twisting and meandering water streams. This backwater journey through the narrow canals crossing exquisite villages of Kerala, embellished with lush green paddy fields, tall coconut grooves makes it a most spellbinding site.
Lunch & Dinner will be served on board. Overnight on board Houseboat
