Day 01

Welcome to the Capital of India!! Upon clearing Customs and Immigration, you are met by our representative who will present you with a welcome pack including all necessary documentation and arrange for your transfer to your hotel for check-in. Delhi, a bustling metropolis, which successfully combines in its folds the ancient with modern. Its strategic location was the prime reasons why successive dynasties chose it as their seat of power. Siri, established by AlauddinKhilji; Tuglakabad, Ferozabad built by the Tughlaks followed by the walled city Shajehanabad by the Mughals. DELHI – ARGABreakfast: At the hotel

Today, Proceed for Agra after breakfast.

Agra,Beautifully situated on the banks of river Yamuna. It achieved prominence as the capital of the Mughal Emperors from 1526 to 1628, remains major tourist destination because of its many splendid Mughal-era monuments, most notably the TajMahal, Agra Fort &FatehpurSikri, all three are UNESCO World Heritage sites.

Visit TajMahal, symbol of eternal love, which stands on the banks of River Yamuna. It was built by the 5th Mughal emperor, Shah Jehan in the year 1631 in memory of his wife, MumtazMahal. It was completed in 22 years. Further visit Agra Fort, taken over from the Lodhis by the Mughal Emperor Akbar in the late 16th century. The Fort can be more accurately described as a walled palatial city. It was built from red sandstone, often inlaid with white marble & intricate decorations. AGRA – JAIPURBreakfast: At the hotel

Today, proceed to Jaipur, en route visit FatehpurSikri(Ghost Capital), the political capital of India’s Mughal Empire under Akbar’s reign, from the year 1571 until 1585, when it was abandoned, ostensibly due to lack of water.

Jaipur, popularly known as Pink City, the flamboyant & colourful capital of Rajasthan. With its rich & colourful past, resplendent with tales of valour & bravery, it is now one of the most important heritage cities in India. The city was founded in the year 1728 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, the ruler of Amber. It remains the only city in the world symbolizing the nine divisions of the universe, through nine rectangular sectors. Attractions in Jaipur

Full Day Tour

Today we take an excursion to Amber Fort, the palace complex which stands to this date was commenced under the reign of Raja Man Singh. We take an Elephant ride to reach the Fort situated on the hill, an overwhelming experience. Later we visit the City Palace, a perfect blend of Rajasthani& Mughal architecture. The center of the palace is a seven-storied building called Chandra Palace, with fine views over the gardens & the city. Further we visitJantarMantar(Solar Observatory), an astronomical treasure house, with solar devices that give accurate predictions till date. We now visit HawaMahal (Palace of Winds), a five-storied structure of pink sandstone. It was built in the year 1799 so that veiled royal women could peer down the busy street market unseen by the world through its 593 stone Jharokas (mini windows). Optional Tour – ChokhiDhani An evening excursion to ChokhiDhani complex, ethnic village resort located at a distance of 15 km from Jaipur. After having breakfast at hotel, leaveJaipur and proceed for Udaipur. Udaipur, situated in the state of Rajasthan, means the ‘City of Sunrise’ has manifold attractions like imposing marble palaces, enchanting cool lakes, luxurious green gardens, and old temples. It has so many lakes and palaces that it is often called as the ‘City of Lakes and Palaces’.

Morning after Breakfast, half-day city tour to visit Jagdish Temple, MaharanaJagat Singh built the Jagdish temple, which is in the centre of the old town and to the north of city palace, in 1651. This temple is dedicated to God Vishnu and has a shrine with a black stone image of lord Vishnu as Jagannath (Lord of the universe), City palace & Museums and Saheliyonki Bari or Garden of the Maids of Honour, is in the north of the city. This small ornamental garden has fountains, kiosks, marble elephants and delightful lotus pool. Rest of the time free at leisure.OVERNIGHT HOTEL – UDAIPUR

UDAIPUR – JODHPURBreakfast: At the hotel

Post breakfast, we drive to Jodhpur, popularly known as the Blue City. The city was once the capital of the princely state of Marwar. Nestled on  the foothills of a sandstone hill, Jodhpur seems like an oasis in the desert. Established in 1459 by Rao Jodha, Jodhpur is the second largest city in Rajasthan. The city is dominated by the arresting Mehrangarh Fort, stunning palaces, massive forts and beautiful temples. Its rich cultural heritage also reflects in its colorful handicrafts, folk dances, music and fairs and festivals

Today drive to Mandawain Shekawati region. This town of Shekhawati region are known for their amazing painted havelis. So varied and architecturally rich are the havelis that this region is dubbed as the “open art gallery of Rajasthan”. The plethora of painted Havelis in rich artistic tradition makes them fascinating. Most of the buildings are dated from 18th century to early 20th century.

Upon arrival check-in the hotel. Later proceed for sightseeing. The Shekhawati region is dotted with so many havelis that tracking them is something akin to a treasure hunt. City tour of Old and New Delhi. Old Delhi built by the Emperor Shahjahan is a bustling city of crowded bazaars and winding alleys teeming with life. New Delhi, designed by British architects Lutyens and Herbert Baker, with wide avenues, landscaped gardens and – stately monuments. Visit the Red Fort, Jama Masjid Mosque, Chandnichowk bazaar. Also visit India Gate, Humayun’s tomb, Birla temple, QutbMinar and drive past President’s Palace and the diplomatic enclave.
